This is without doubt a Black year for re-enacting in general and the Volunteer Company in particular.

A tragic loss to everybody, especially John's Family. Always there to help, share information and research, chat to and a genuinely nice guy. I only really
got to know John in the last few years but he made a big impression on me, and earned a great deal of my respect. His input will be greatly missed at events
and on the forums. He was a great comfort to me at Steve's funeral.
My condolences go out to Anna & all of John's family. Such a sad day.

What a terrible loss, It was only the other sunday that we walking around Eyemouth harbour, eating chips and having coffee, just wedensday past we were
talking about the coming season and now this.
Speaking to Anna tonight she thinks it was his heart troubles again. as a neighbour ive offered her any help she needs. My condolences go out to Anna. Major Bill Brown CS STAFF ACWS. |
