OK Mac,
This is what we have so far: Feb 2008 Training Event, probably Avoncroft, Birmingham Mar 2008 Training Event - will need to be somewhere we can fire as neither Avoncroft nor Laredo will accept firing. 21/24 March Easter SOSKAN Event 30 April - 4 May 2008 German UCR Event (not Kuhlsheim) May 9/10/11 American Eagles Bath May 24/25/26 Wilton House (SOSKAN) June 6/7/8 Normandy France June 27/28 SOSKAN Bloxham June 27/28/29 Stanford Hall (ACWS) July 1 - 6 UAFP Omagh also some little skirmish in Pennsylvania. That's just the first 6 months. Gonna take some planning to get that lot sorted! Nobby |

I thought we were going to do less events but make them quality events. There seems to already be a lot of events planned and that's the first 6 months?

We are in danger of spreading ourselves to thin again. Remember this year lots of events of 5 or 6 members turning up.

Chris, we're a broad church mate. 75% of the VC are remaining with SOSKAN.
It's up to members to sort out what they want to go to. I'm cherrypicking the ones I want to do. Wilton looks like it. You'll find I didn't mention SOSKAN's Fort Nelson on Mayday bank holiday, which clashes with the German trip. It's all a bit rudderless at the moment without Steve... Nobby |

Quote: I remember it well, the first campaign weekend for the Bugscuffle mess. At night, it was six below zero, a freezing fog in the morning, and we loved it! Great venue! Jim. |

Great idea Kingola!
OK mate, get working on it - remember Easter is early this year, so we need to be looking at early March. Be great to see ya again, be good to get everyone there. The impression should be Federal I think, but no reason why we can't invite the 18th Va and other interested Cornfed parties down. Any ideas for the scenario fellers? Yes Jim, that was one cold night, but hey, everyone soon learned to spoon! Nobby |
