The Germans have moved their annual big event from May (where it clashed with absolutely everything we do) to August 29/31 2008.
It still clashes - Cliveden is the week after, but I'm game to give it a go, if there's anyone else interested.

We received now the verbal OK from the German Army and our UCR "American-Civil-War Summer Event 1863" can start now. As soon
as we have the signed contract in hand we will announce further details. Please note the date in your personal event calendar now!

*Veranstaltungsort/Place of Event: Truppenübungsplatz/Military Trainingsground MUNSTER (near Soltau between Hannover und Hamburg,
Germany)
*Programm/Program (geplant/planned): Campaign/Skirmish - Living History Camp
Program should be orientated on the 2007 UCR event, but this new
Military Training ground allows prolonged shooting times (+ at night + on Sundays) = more opportunities!

Please note that all information given here are without guarantee. However we will inform you according to our best
knowledge but the contract with the German Army as "landlord" gives them the right for chances every time. In order to avoid the
debacle of 2007 we are trying to reserve an other ground on the same date.
This is another opportunity for us to work with our French comrades, who I believe are going in strength.
