Just a thought, but if the usual area is a no-go, how about the lawn space that other groups camp on? (New France Old England et al.)

Thanks Nathan for pointing out about the closure of the A36 south of Bath. With luck, this should not affect those coming from the north, London or Bristol. For those coming from the south there are some useful suggestions as to how to avoid the roadworks at: http://www.bath.ac.uk/news/2008/2/28/a36-3.html At the Museum we shall be camped in our usual spot. The "shed" covered with the blue tarpaulin in the staff car park is the railroad car end
section that has had to be moved there temporarily. Perhaps the tarpaulin can be removed for the time we are there. Regrettably, a car park is bound to have
anachronisms in it. There will be no problem unloading in the staff car park and moving our vehicles to the upper car park. All the indications are we're
going to have a large turnout at this one. See you there,

Ok that's sounds more hopeful! Maybe they had put manure on the gardens when I was there on Saturday....as there was a 'aroma' around the blue
tarpaulin area! but glad that is no longer a threat.
Just one quick question - unloading kit, can we drive straight down to the staff car park? As my partner told me that the guy at the main entrance can get slightly territorial about the grounds, and I don't want to anger anyone by driving straight down the side road past the main house and into to the staff car park if that's not alright with the organisers. Just to let all our very welcome French and Belgium visitors know that I now have finally received the shotgun licences which will last 12-months and also
cover the Ireland event (and of course any more you choose to attend with us). The explosive licences however will only be current for this event only.
Kind regards and looking forward to meeting with you all again at Bath. Keith
"Friends and foe soon learned to watch the course of the blue flag that marked where
Cleburne was in the battle. Where this division defended no odds broke it's lines, where it attacked, no numbers resisted it's onslaught, save only
once, and there's the grave of Cleburne and his heroic division."

Hi Mac
Everything is still ok for you stay overnight on the Friday. Is it still all ok at your end? If we need to we can meet you at Portsmouth and you can follow us, so you do not have any chance of getting lost. Not that I am suggesting you would, just that you may not know the area. Vince |
