Any idea on the camp layout for the event? I myself have not been to an event at Bath, but my partner did at the end of the season last year and she told me
that the civilians camped at the end of the woods to the near end of the car park, and John H had told us to camp in the same place, would this still be the
case? As I would be arriving with my partner late afternoon/ early evening on the Friday and I did not want to set up in the wrong place and ruin any
pre-arranged set up for the camp.

Nathan, As far as we can tell, the camping arrangements will be as you describe, however, they have not been confirmed. We may move the civilians to the other
end of the camp. We will advise prior to the event. Regards, Tom Wheeley

Warning | ||

Ok, Thought I would give you guys some warning about the current situation around the American museum in Bath. I went there today with my partner, but when we were less than 10 minutes away we found that the roads in the area were closed! The A36 is closed at Limpley Stoke the AO36 at Limply and the B3108 to Winsley with no access to Limpley Stoke and the Road is closed at Monkton Claverton with no through route and the A036 is closed with no through road to Bath/Warminster for the next 12 weeks from the 31st of March - phew! That was a long list! But basically in a nut shell what I am trying to say is that there is only one road that gets to the museum and it took 40 minutes for us to find it and even then it was by mistake! So I would suggest giving yourself extra time on your journey, and if you're using satnav forget it! As for the current location - I hope it improves by May!
My partner showed me where the camp was last time and
well…there may be some problems! There is a shed covered with blue tarpaulin right next to
the camping area (really authentic
Just thought I would give you all some warning!
See you soon at the event! Nathan G
