Jan Berger (German reenactor and maker of leather works : http://www.lederarsenal.com/english/civilwar_e.html) said me that he will bring his bugle. So all the calls will be with a bugle (dinner call, drills calls, supper calls, breakfast calls, skirmishs calls, reveill, tattoo, extinction...). He will come with 4 other german reenactors.
We can give you now differents activities :
- Dress parade,
- Drill of course,
- Reviews,
- Base ball play possible during the breaks,
- payment...
We will give mails and few parcels...
Civilians will able to use a true log caban.
Jan Berger will bring leather works (shoes, cap box...)
There will be also the 20th Maine's sutler. This sutler will sale Wambaugh's items, Orchard hill's items, Carter and Jasper's items.
There will be a company cook. I can give you recipes that we use for the military rations : Boiled Salt Pork, Pork Stew, Hardtack pudding, Skillygalee. If you want improve this rations the 20th Maine's sutler will sale different authentics food (currants, corn meal, apricots, molasses cakes...)
Civilans will receive rations differents of the military rations. It will possible to do exchanges.
