Hi I know this is mostly the forum for military sides of the Civil war, but if anyone has some spare kit for civilian re-enactment that would be great! Sadly John Hopper was giving me some stuff but as the situation has changed, I am now without any civilian trousers or shoes for the event in May! So if anyone has anything they want to sell on please let me know.

we have two pairs of second hand brogans (confed and union) available for sale. They are 8 or 9 so probably best to try them on at the event. Hope this helps. kind regards Keith

I've got a pair of Wendy Potter (the best seamstress in the world!!!) completely hand made trousers you may find useful. They will be too large in just about every possible dimension but, in terms of authenticity, that would be good. I'll bring them for you to try and if you're happy you're most welcome to use them for the weekend. Will be very good to have you with us. Best, Patrick |
