Hi All, You boys should have stayed for the Sunday afternoon battle. Lots of movement, lots of action, great volleys, plenty of being wounded and being revived by the medical corps who accompanied each regiment BUT the very best thing , shooting Shaz and seeing her fall over and being left there by her retreaing unit. You really should have stayed.

As it was a max effort event, i wanted to attend but i could only make the late sat afternoon and Sunday.
The action was over when i found the 124th although the area they had decided to bivouac that night was most excellent, a well covered area in a nice woodland with a small river running along one side. There was a large amount of wood lying around and the company was as always fantastic This wood is great for our units purposes and i will certainly be attending next year if there is one . I believe a great campaign weekend was had by all . Martyn Goddard
