Can anyone post links to different songs so i can make a CD for the car and learn the most common songs . I can't sing but i can add another voice to the background. I do like the music sooooooooooo much it makes the event for me when songs are sung help? A USB tape cassette player is around 95, but there is apparently a way you can connect from the Headphone socket to the 'Line in' on the Computer - whether you need any converting software is another thing entirely. Yes, you can't beat learning the words by listening to the songs in your car to and from work etc., and I wholeheartedly agree with Martyn and Gus. Nobby

You'll need a programme on your computer to record with, such as Adobe Audition or a variation thereof (Audition is ridiculously expensive - I wangled a free copy of it through a teacher at my old school) I'll have a look what other recording software is available free online Happiness is 16 Hands between your legs.

It should do the trick nicely. Once installed, whack your tape player up the computer via 3.5mm cable, select record, chose your imput (microphone if you put it into the microphone socket) and work out the volume and record each song. If they come out quiet you can amplify the sound. You can save them in the format of your choice (.mp3, .wav, .aac etc) or burn them to CD's. When you select record you'll need to chose either mono or stereo sound. Plump for stereo to begin with, but if sound only comes out of your left speaker when you play back the first one, select mono. Here is a bit of a song I've just recorded off of my mobile (connected mob headphone socket to mic socket on computer with cable) by doing all the above... homepage.ntlworld.com/the.../ps-cg.mp3 Happiness is 16 Hands between your legs.
