Nathan there will be people on site from around 3pm onwards. If you expect to arrive earlier than that just hang around until someone can guide you where to pitch.

Have the camping arrangements been confirmed yet for civilians? As I need to know where to set up, would it be by the car park as before - or at the back? Is there a camp marshal who I should check in with before I set up?

The form lists both but I had to complete seperate forms for powder as well. they were quite insistant about this, so not sure if there is a change since these guidelines were published? In addition, the licence fee is for one use only depsite lasting 12-months but for multi use which this is, it is an additional £36.

I'll check this out with Davy Orr, as I can't get a reply out of Cameron.

I think the PSNI Visitor Licences cover Firearm and Black Powder. I think they've had you over a barrel there Keith.

Here's the blurb:

GB residents visiting or transiting through Northern Ireland
GB residents (including Channel Islands and The Isle of Man) are required to apply for a Northern Ireland...

Nobby & trusted French/Belgium visitors. The Shotgun visitor licenses are valid for 12-months so will cover Ireland as we paid the extra to cover this. However, the powder licenses are acquire ONLY for the Bath event ONLY. We will need to apply again for the Ireland powder issues. However, as I am unable to attend this event, it requires a person holding Acquire & Keep who IS attending to apply.

I can't wait , but what is the exact date of the scenario? this has a big effect on confederate rations, and impression.

Everything is still ok for you stay overnight on the Friday.

Is it still all ok at your end?

If we need to we can meet you at Portsmouth and you can follow us, so you do not have any chance of getting lost. Not that I am suggesting you would, just that you may not know the area.

Just to let all our very welcome French and Belgium visitors know that I now have finally received the shotgun licences which will last 12-months and also cover the Ireland event (and of course any more you choose to attend with us). The explosive licences however will only be current for this event only.
