I hesitate to do a write up about the weekend. I think Biffa would have described it as 'Blindin' - he usualy did.
Having access to a town, particularly one as welcoming as Laredo, is certainly comforting when the winter chills put an end to campaigning. As our brigade had suffered such fearful losses during the last 'elephant show' we could all be accomodated in huts and cabins.
