Ben Tart Civilian Trousers

Hi

I've got a pair of Ben Tart civilian trousers for sale.

32x32, very dark green wool. These trousers are made from a very old run from Mr Tart, he no longer does this colour as it a real difficult dye to produce.

I've photographs if interested. £40 +p&p takes home a unique pair of trousers.

For some reason that is beyond me by, Andrew Haughton's book 'Training and Tactics in the AoT' usually retails for around £80 (even second hand), yes that's not a typo, it really does cost that much.

There is a copy currently on ebay for less that £13

55th Virginia's Thirtieth Anniversary Lunch, September 27th, 2009.

The gods smiled on the 55^th Va. as it gathered to celebrate its thirtieth anniversary on board HMS Warrior last month. It was a beautiful day with clear skies and bright sunshine. Many were the happy greetings and tall tales exchanged by old comrades.

Lunch on the Cable Deck was followed by a toast to the regiment and the keynote speech from Captain Perry. Ken has given many fine addresses over the past thirty years, but this was surely his best. He paid...

First of all thanks to Tom & Richard for organising this event, and a great weekend had by all.

The numbers were about 22 including our French, Belgium, and Irish comrades. Adam and Richard as civilians. A special thanks to Chris and Rae Barwick for the shadow shadow show on the Saturday night and a rendition of John Wilkes Booth.

Saturday morning started with some drill followed by some bayonnet drill instruction by Tom, Which was my personnal highlight of the whole...

Bath is rarely an unsatisfying event and this weekend proved no exception. The numbers, however did not come up to expectations although we did have 10 civilians and 18 in the ranks albeit at different times. What started out as a 9th Kentucky impression soon morphed into an ANV impression mainly from the strong contigent from the 18th Va. and god bless 'em because they were our saving grace. With two events back to back it is not surprising that one event or the other is going to suffer...
